Lusaka

Lusaka is the capital and biggest city of Zambia in South Africa.
The city of Lusaka is not famous as a tourist destination, but is it a good hub to start your exploring in Zambia. It is more of a modern administrative and trading center at the shores of mighty Zambezi river.
Lusaka is also very good place for shopping as it is the best supplied place in the country. Its numberless markets are full of various merchandise, which is usually offered at bargain prices, compared to other places in Zambia.
Interesting spots, that deserve a visit in Lusaka include the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, the Munda Wanga Botanical Gardens and Zoo and the Lusaka National Museum. In close proximity is the must see Kabwata Cultural Village, which is devoted to the preservation of indigenous arts and crafts and offers displays of traditional dancing.
