Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah is a city located in the northern part of United Arab Emirates. This is a sea city with nice beaches and with some nice attractions, like the National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah or historical ones. Between these, it could be recommended the Dhayah Fort, the ruins odd Shamal and Sheeba's Palace, the old city and Souq and the ghost town Jazirat Al Hamra.
An interesting festival is the "Awafi Festival", whose main event is a race in the desert, but also a chance to visit the characteristic village and the zoo, built during the festival.
