Luhansk

Luhansk or Lugansk is a city situated in the southeastern side of Ukraine. It ranks as one of the most industrialized areas of the country, and its leading industries are metal-working and machine building. Luhansk is also home to a major diesel-locomotive building business.
Aside from its booming industries, the city of Luhansk is also an important educational and cultural centre in the country. It has several cultural facilities such as drama theatres (Puppet Theatre), numerous museums (Museum of Regional Studies, Art Museum), and a Philharmonic Society.
There are also numerous attractions visitors can enjoy in Luhansk. These include the Chernobyl Memorial, Heroes Square, St. Peter and Paul's Cathedral, Charles Gascoigne Monument, and the Mergeleva Ridge to name a few.
The climate can go to both ways in Luhansk. Winters are cold  dropping to -7 degrees C, and summers are hot with temperatures reaching 22 degrees C.
