Kenting

Kenting is located in the southern part of Taiwan on the Hengchun Peninsula. The city is very isolated from other cities in the area making it a quiet and peaceful city compared to Hualien and Taipei. A number of beautiful beaches stretch for miles under clear blue skies. The area is a swimming haven and offers a great deal of water sports. Also in the area are a number of different National Parks such as Kenting National Park that can easily be reached if Kenting is used as a base for your travels. Water and nature lovers flock to the area because of the sea and mountains that frame the city. For water sport lovers there is scuba diving, swimming, banana boating, water skiing, whale watching and much more. All that is offered in the area with Kenting National Park just a short drive away will astound nature lovers. You can also enjoy an aquarium, the National Museum of Marine Biology and the Kenting Walking Street.
