Ulsan is South Korea's seaside metropolis, hope to more than a million people. It is the city of ‘whaling', with whaling heritage seen in petroglyphs thousands of years ago. Ulsan may also be considered an industrial city as it has several large companies, with Hyundai Motors being the most famous, thus it is no wonder why a lot of people head to Ulsan for work and business purposes. Tourists would not be disappointed with the local Ulsan attractions, however, and below are several spots you can head to if you want some R&R.
There's the Ulsan Grand Park which is a very big park offering recreational activities such as rollerblading and biking. The park's peaceful and relaxing ambiance also makes it ideal for strolling. People who would like to go for a swim or wind surfing will also love Jinha beach. The beach also has a Japanese fortress up to this day which is worth viewing. Shopping and dining in Samsandong is also recommended. Ulsan is both a city for workers and for tourists.
