Ljubljana

The capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, is not well known for world famous tourist attractions, which adds to its overall charm. Therefore, when you arrive you can enjoy what the city does have: culture, history, heritage and lots of tradition. Many events held throughout the year in Ljubljana attract visitors from all over the world. There are sites as well that are great to explore like the Triple Bridge that are three bridges all next to one another. Old Town is two squares that are well preserved and have medieval buildings filled with designer shops, cafes and restaurants. Ljubljana Castle provides incredible views of the city, the Sava River and the Alps off in the distance. Metelkova City is an autonomous area of culture that is a gathering area for artists, youth and alternative culture. Tivolo Park the main park in the city is great to sit and watch the passersby. A number of museums, galleries and centuries-old structures are available to tour as well.
