Kotor is a picturesque coastal Montenegro town, popular for its amazing architecture and its many natural spots. Kotor's Old Town, Stari Grad, is the best attraction and is even part of the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Stari Grad is characterized by its cobblestone lanes, old churches and beautiful mansions which used to belong to aristocrat families.
Kotor accommodations are affordable. Examples of places where you can stay are the Montenegro Hostel and the Hotel Amfora Kotor. If you're physically fit and want to get great views of the city, head to the Fortifications, where you have to climb more than 1,000 steps. To visit the islands of Gospa od Skrpijela and Sveti Djordje situated in the middle of the bay, you can go on a boat trip. Nightlife in Kotor is lively, with many open bars in town, though music can't be played after 1:00 am. You can head to the night clubs, though for more action and music, a good example of which is Maximus, the most popular Kotor nightclub.
