Kigali Memorial Centre / Gisozi Genocide Memorial
A permanent memorial for victims of the genocide of 1994. The Centre is built on a site where over 250,000 people are buried, and is a place where many people who lost loved ones in the genocide go to remember and grieve. No entrance fee, donations gratefully accepted.

Ntarama Church
This site of the April 1994 massacre has been declared a genocide memorial. It remains a solemn tribute to those who were slain, the bones and belongings of the dead still lying among the aisles and the altar.
