Cluj Napoca is the capital of the historic region of Transylvania, Romania. It is one of the most visited cities in the country. The city is particularly nice and is certainly a place to experience urban Transylvanian life at its finest. With fine dining, excellent cultural activities, and vibrant atmosphere, Cluj Napoca will not disappoint those who choose to visit it. Moreover, the fact that Cluj (for short) is easy to access and move around in, makes it a convenient place for any tourist.
Although not as stunning as other southern Saxon towns, the city of Cluj Napoca boasts some of Romania's hip subterranean discos that are filled with fun-loving university students. Aside from clubs, the city offers historic sites to see, such as the Matthias Corvinus' statue and the St. Michael's Church in Union Square. A few more places nearby are The Museum Square, Franciscan Monastery, and the Visual Arts Academy.
Enjoy the outdoors with a visit to the Botanical Gardens and the Central Park.
