Koror is Palau Island's largest city. It used to be the capital, but was replaced by Melekeok. Take note that Koror is still considered the business center of Palau -- in fact, countless workers from nearby islands head to Koror and stay there for work. Most of the tourists in Koror engage in diving as diving is the most popular activity in the area.
Pincher's Reef and Chandelier Cave are Koror's famous dive sites. Various fish life, crustaceans, stalagmites and stalactites, may be seen in those diving spots. Apart from diving, dolphin watching, even interacting with dolphins, is one of the highly recommended Koror tourist activities. You see, the largest dolphin research establishment called ‘Dolphins Pacific' is found in the city of Koror. There are also some interesting Koror dishes that you have to try when you're in the area. There's the fruit bat dish that's cooked with some coconut. A Beef dish that's been steamed with the herb: Titiml, is also a must try Koror viand.
