Noumea is one of the island cities of New Caledonia French Island group. It is fabulous with its kite surfing opportunities, the stile and flair of French European city in the center of the Pacific ocean, with luxury hotels, fabulous restaurants and vibrant night life.
When visiting Noumea keep in mint that due to the fact that it is considered part of France, the standard of living and price levels are quite high, so you should plan your travel budget carefully. Be advised that taxis are more expensive in evenings and weekends and cheep accommodation is available in quite comfortable bungalow style local huts.
