Plaza de los Mariachis
La plaza de Marichis today is lacking in good Mariachi. The restaurant (Mi Ranchito) that supported most of the bands may still be there but it no longer the center of activity that it once was. It is still a very interesting area. On one side is the church of San Juan de Dios, the patron curcrh on the mercado libertad. Locals still refer to Mercado Libertad as San Juan de Dios.
