Mont Choisy

Mont Choisy is located on the northern coast of Mauritius. Although not the most popular destination for travellers making their way through the small island nation, Mont Choisy is primarily and idyllic beach town. It offers a beautiful destination with pristine shorelines and crystalline waters that are perfect for beach lovers and snorkelling fanatics.
The main attraction in the resort town of Mont Choisy Beach. What makes this place special is the picturesuqe way the white-sand coast curves around the bay, creating a basin of blue waters fringed by Casuarina trees. The beach is highly accessible and is a favorite spot fro the locals, as well. This is probably due to the fact that there is a soccer field nearby where visitors and locals can relax and people watch.
The entrance to Mont Choisy Beach is marked by a monument commemorating the first manned flight between Mauritius and Reunion Island, which took place in September 10, 1933.
