Calumet

Calumet is an island town of the Marshal Islands in the Pacific
The town of Calumet is known for its nice beaches and friendly people, although the whole area of the Marshal Islands suffered enormously from the nuclear testings of the United States in the sixties.
Calumet is a good base for exploring the Marshal Islands, as it is connected by boats to several of the bigger islands of the archipelago and it is more calm place than the capital.
Be advised that for many areas, paths and beaches around Calumet it is possible to be needed an official permission for passing by or swimming in the ocean.
