Gharb is a small village found on the western portion of the Gozo Island in Malta. It was established so many years ago, with houses that have stone balconies – definitely proof of how ancient Gharb may be considered. It is a serene place, but is little by little being developed; in fact, there are now some excellent dining spots that tourists love visiting when in Gharb.
Gharb's village square is really picturesque, which is why you'll find postcards that feature the Gharb village square. The Gharb Folklore Museum is found on the square. The museum showcases antique objects as well as those that tell you the story of the village and Gozo island. The Dbiegi which is the highest hill of Gozo where scenic views may be enjoyed is also found in Gharb. One of the Gharb attractions you should visit is the Chapel of San Dimitri – a tribute to St. Demetrius. Salvina's, Jeffrey's and the Ranger's Bar are examples of good restaurants in Gharb.
