Luxembourg City is Luxembourg's capital city. It is called the ‘Gibraltar of the North' because of its beautiful plateaus and valleys. The city is a thousand years old and is even included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. The MUDAM is an interesting museum designed by none other than I.M. Pei known for the Louvre Pyramid. The museum displays the great works of Luxembourg artists, aside from having a unique structure. Luxembourg City is also well known for several restaurants that have been rated with the Michelin Star, meaning that those eateries are considered the finest in the world.
