With 110 km of coast that goes from Cattolica to Lidi di Comacchio, Riviera dell'Emilia Romagna presents 1.426 bathing establishments, 3.700 hotels and 15 amusement parks and is the definitive choice for those that look for a total holiday. It is located on the north eastern side of Italy, along the Adriatic Sea.
Its places unify relax, good food, beaches equipped to make sport on the beach or in the sea: so beach tennis, beach volley, foot volley and beach soccer can be played or also kite surf, nordic walking or stand up paddle board can be practiced besides the classic wind surf. But when the sun goes down, the night life starts to take place with a wide offer of discos especially in the area of Rimini and Riccione.
In order to offer always differents services, some bathing establishments organize an event called "Spiagge del benessere" ( wellness beaches), bringing the experience of a spa on the beach with activities like yoga, massages, oriental art and dances, creative labs, relax techniques, natural products and workshops with wellness experts.
Other courses are offered always on the beach, like courses to learn to make Italian pasta or the local piadina or to make jewels with recycled plastic or with seashells. These new courses clearly do not substitute the one preferred by sea lovers like sail lessons or windsurf schools. You can navigate not only on the sea but also on the beach, as many bathing establishments have internet points or wireless connections.Another point is that they offer serviceseven for dogs: some hotels and beaches are equipped with dedicated spaces where they can play but not swim ( this is forbidden). The evolution of sea tourism does not end here: in fact many baths are environment friendly. In Rimini for example 20 of them join the project Riviera Solare, with eco-beaches and courses on how to respect the environment, besides the use of solar panels to save electricity and the recovery of water from the showers. The nightlife is great: Rimini and Riccione are the capital of the amusement in Italy. Discos like Paradisco, Carnaby club, Cocorico', Peter Pan or Pascia are historic places that a clubber cannot miss. In Milano Marittima you can find many VIP's and the trendy local is for sure the Papeete Beach. In Misano Adriatico another famous club is Villa delle Rose, while in Gabicce Mare the famous Baia Imperiale is one of the most beautiful discos ever seen, with an ancient Roman scenografy.
