Dublin

  A visitor to Dublin may be tempted to head straight to the pub to get himself a pint full of Guiness or a hearty helping of Stout, , but, while pub-crawling should certainly be on any vacationer's to-do list, Dublin offers much more than what's lying at the bottom of a pint glass. As a literary city, lovers of Irish authors like Joyce and Shaw might be tempted to follow The Dubliners Trail around the city, or pay a visit to the James Joyce Museum or the Dublin Writer's House. Theologians and academics alike should surely take a tour around the famous Trinity College, where they will find, among other scholarly gems, one of the world's oldest and most beautifuly illuminated Gospel books- The Books of Kells. In the evening, travelers can enjoy the rich Irish tradition of music and dance in the Temple Bar area…and then go on that pub crawl that you've been dying to do.
