Kourou

Kourou is a tourist resort hlding the main French Space Center in Guiana.
The town of Kourouis a known sea resort in French Guiana and a base of the French Foreign Legion in the country. It is also known for the Space Center near the city, which makes it and the most filled with Europeans place in French Guiana.
Apart form the Space Center, other attractions of Kourou include the Isles du Salut and Kirk island which can be visited by boat service operating from the port at the end of Vieux Bourg, Avenue de Charles de Gaulle. In the same area is the fish market, with some of the fish offered there really unique.
