Livingston is a small town in Guatemala. There is no land access to the town despite it being located on the country's main island. The only way to reach it is via boat which can be taken from Puerto Barrios and Rio Dulce Town.
Because Livingston is small, it doesn't take long for visitors to get familiar with the town. Majority of its commercial establishments such as bars, restaurants, and shops is located on the main road, Calle Principal. Several stores are also found on the roads that branch from the main avenue.
While here, visitors can enjoy a dip in the beaches of Playa Quehueche and Playa Blanca, both are located on the northern coast of Livingston. A must attraction to see is the Los Siete Altares, which is located 5 km north of town. The beautiful waterfalls also feature 7 freshwater pools and falls that lead into the Caribbean.
