Tbilisi

Tbilisi is the capital and biggest city of Georgia at the border of the Middle East and Europe.
The city of Tbilisi has very reach and extensive history dating many years before the Christ. It is remarkable with the mix of civilizations that has left architectural and cultural landmarks in the city. In very small distances the visitor is able to see Oriental style Christian temples, both Georgian and Armenian, Orthodox Bizantine and Russian churches and even synagogues and mosques.
Landmarks worth visiting are: Narikala fortress, Vorontsov's Palace, Sioni Cathedral, Sameba Cathedral, Norashen church, Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater. Other interesting sites are Sulfur Baths, Rustaveli Avenue and the medieval district Narikala.
The city of Tbilisi also welcomes visitors with its well organized tourist facilities which include good options for eating, accommodation and shopping as well as lividly nightlife and economic leisure facilities.
