  4. Azerbaijan

    Dan says:

Travel in Azerbaijan is not exactly like going on holiday to Tenerife. It is hard work, let me tell you! Firstly, there is the lack of tourist infrastructure...not many travel agencies, lack of hotels outside Baku (the capital), and a haphazard public transport system. The refugee problem resulting from the dispute with Armenia over Nagorno-Karabagh has taken up most of the hotel beds in the country, and this dispute certainly hasn t helped Azerbaijan s image abroad. But, if you can cowithout ....

  6. Great Barrier Reef

    John King says:

The Great Barrier Reef is a most remarkable place. When I dived over the reef I had a copious amount of wildlife for company - as well as the rubbish and worst from boats moored upstream! The reef is obviously a magnet for tourists and for those who make a living from tourists and it is unfortunate that one of my enduring memories of the reef is attempting to surface through a cloud of toilet refuge from five boats moored further up the current. If you can find a guide who will take yo(in ....

  7. Palermo Viejo

    Daniel says:

I love just meandering around Palermo Viejo, which is the hip area where all the fun boutiques, restaurants, nightclubs and the like are, and is a pretty area in itself with cobble stone streets. Go during the day on the weekend when all the nightclubs have turn their space into markets selling rad clothes and interesting things. The people are really cool, there, too and it s a way younger, more artsy crowd than other parts of the city. Palermo has a lot of wonderful parks, too, and tthe ....

  8. Breathtaking Andorra

    Posted: 11/05/2008
    Richard Price says:

Andorra is basically a country built between a narrow valley of the Pyrenees. The once little individual towns built through this valley are now joining together to make one long urban area, not helped by the ever increasing building of apartments, hotels etc to accommadate the millions of skiers that flock to its mountains each winter. So add that too the increasing number of people and their cars and it has become a total nightmare Grid Lock .

It was truly awful. We purpchose ....

  9. Kasbah

    Posted: 10/05/2008
    Claire says:

The Kasbah is a unique kind of medina, or Islamic city. It stands in one of the finest coastal sites on the Mediterranean, overlooking the islands where a Carthaginian trading-post was established in the 4th century B.C. The Kasbah contains the remains of the citadel, old mosques and Ottoman-style palaces as well as the vestiges of a traditional urban structure associated with a deep-rooted sense of community.

I will post reviews also, but mainly I have some sights to list if you are in Vlore that you might want to check out. The city layout is decently simple. Beaches to the west, city to the east and you ll want to stay more north than south as far as city goes, but as far as hotels and nightlife go head to the southern part of the city. Statuje Impart (Statuja e Pavavsise): This sits in the original qender or center of Vlore, though where all the fun happens is in the Riviera the new andgrowing ....

At the last end of england on the south west side is the edge of united kingdom. The place is called 'Lands End' and it really is land's end. The edge of the country is really beautiful. There is a nice hotel there which was established in 1860 and you can walk down to touch the cold water.
