Playa Hermosa

Playa Hermosa is a Costa Rican tourist destination specifically for surfers and nature lovers. Whether you're a novice surfer or an expert surfer, you'll love the waves at Playa Hermosa. The spot may not be ideal for swimming, however, because of the stronger currents.
Aside from surfing, other activities that you'll enjoy when in Playa Hermosa include golfing, riding on ATVs, going on jungle tours, etc. There are also some parts of this destination where you can engage in horseback riding. The Wildlife Refuge in this part of Costa Rica is also a recommended site to visit. It concentrates on protecting Olive Pacific Ridley turtles that head to the shore to lay eggs from the month of June up to December. Playa Hermosa's Reserva Biologica is another interesting site as it is home to tropical trees that have been around for more than a thousand years. People who love water activities as well as Mother Nature will surely feel that Playa Hermosa is heaven.
