Sucre was the first capital of Bolivia, built by Spanish conquistadores. It is a typical colonial place, where local architectures are mixed together with European arts: this makes it an interesting place to visit. This is particular visible in the churches of San Lazaro, Iglesia de San Francisco or Cappella Virgen de Guadalupe.
Another interesting attraction is the Museum La Recoleta, an old Franciscan monastery, that allows to see the old interiors, beautiful gardens and most of all allows a nice seesighting of the roofs of the city.
