Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz has become the largest city in Bolivia since the 90s because of the presence of petrol and gas, that make it financially an important centre of the country.
It is a clean, rich and modern city but besided this it is plenty of interesting attractions for touristis. In fact Santa Cruz has some beautiful churches like the metropolitan cathedral or the Sanctuary of Cotoca. Another place to visit is El Arenal, a natural park created by an artificial lagoon where typical animals like lamas can be seen.
Close to the park El Arenal tourist can have a break into the local markets like Los Pozos or Calles where nice handicraft products can be bought.
