Potosi

Potosi is a nice colonial city that was declared "World Heritage Site" by Unesco in its list. It is located at over 4.000 meters over the sea and is surrounded by silver mines, that contributed to the development of the city.
The mines can be also visited and any traveller can realize how difficult is the life of miners, see their houses and the landscape of Potosi.
Another recommended place to see is the "Casa della moneda", that is a museum dedicated to the old machines used to produce coins, besides the exposition of some belongings to the city.
