Bolivia is a country located in South America in an area bounded by Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Paraguay. Although it has no coasts and does not belong to the traditional touristic routes, Bolivia is one of the most fascinating places in Latin America.
From the peaks of Andes to the forests of the Amazon basin, it has a huge natural heritage. A traveller can discover the traditions of the local "indios", archaeological sites like Tiahuanaco or colonial cities of the silver age. It is not sufficient a trip to La Paz or to the lake Titicaca to understand this country in deep  as it takes more and more time to know its differences. Bolivia in fact is fascinating as a mysterious land, the most affordable regarding prices and one of the safest in its continent. Natural landscapes, strong traditions and nice cities make it the ideal place for off-track travellers.
