Brussels

Brussels, the city of invisible contrast. On one side we have Brussels - the headquarters of the EU and NATO, the so called political capital of United Europe,
while on the other this is the cosmopolitan and full of history capital of Belgium.
In Brussels we can see that many typically Belgium things, that any visit in this picturesque country without staying at least 2 days in Brussels is not recommended. We have here the wonderful medieval central square, examples of all post-Renaissance architectural schools, the world famous Belgian beer and chocolate.
It is advised that you have several days at your disposal when visiting Brussels, and you can dedicate the first day on getting to know the city transport system and the old center of Brussels. After that you may pay attention to the numerous more modern neighborhoods of the city, the chocolate and beer houses, the wonderful bars, and finally you may make wonderful train trips to other places of interest in Belgium.
