Antwerp owns his glorious history of one of the biggest trade centers of Europe mainly to its port- it still stands as one of the biggest in the world. Thanks to this Antwerp became also the capital of diamond trade, with a whole district dedicated to this art and business. But Antwerp is also full of historical architecture landmarks, center of the Baroque art movement, represented of its greatest painter - Rubens and his pupils.
When visiting Antwerp make sure to know the layout of the city, as this way you'll be able to orientate easily and to see all the points of interest. Make sure that you visit the medieval central part of the city, take a walk trough the diamond and art districts and visit the numerous bars and beer-houses of Antwerp.
