Kitzbuhel is one of the best known Austrians winter resorts and a nice compact town in the foot of the Tirol Alps. When visiting Kitzbuhel for skiing you should consider that in the end of January the Hahnenkamm racecourse, hosts the World Cup circuit, so if you are in for watching the world's best skiers in a busy little town, plan your visit at those days. If you are planning to take it more easy and actually try to even test the Hahnenkamm, better select more calm winter days.
